11:14 and 11:19 in Schwaig for the tossball team

On a day with perfect weather, the Erding Mallards Tossball team played against the neighbors Red Lions in Schwaig.

The very young Mallards’ did not find it easy to score agains the Schwaig team. The coordination was to unfocused and the players have not yet found the right rhythm. An exception is the pitcher’s spot: both Cedric Gürsoy and Moritz Bott were good. Also, the communication to 1st base, occupied by Sebastian Dornacher, leaves no reason for critics. However, the Red Lions is a good team, which they clearly demonstrated – this is probably one of the factors leading to the continued confusion in the Mallards’ defense. Even though they could score a number of runs, the defense remains an area for improvement.

The games were lost with 11:14 and 11:19.

The young Mallards refuse to give up though, and are seeing each game, if won or lost, as a great practise in preparation for the next games – learning from one’s mistakes is one of the best ways to develop.

The coaches wish all the tossball players lot’s of fun and a great learning experience at the Onkel Toms Baseballcamp, which takes place from May 14 through 16 in Haar.
