As almost every year, the baseball club Erding Mallards e.V. contributed our share in keeping our city tidy, by participating in the annual “Ramadama”.
With this activity, the City of Erding, as well as our club, want to give a sign and keep the public and recreation areas free of litter.
Our part began at home plate (Schollbach) along the Taufkirchner Strasse, the Rotkreuz- and Brauer Strasse to the football ground in Williamsville, where we collected several sacks full of various litter and rubbish, that other people have simply thrown away. We participated with 12 people – five tossball players and seven adult members – armed with handcarts and gloves. The weater was perfect.
The Erding Mallards will continue to participate in this and similar events organized by the City of Erding, thereby expressing our thanks for the support we receive in our work with children and youth.
